PenOffice 3.0 Official Beta Web Site
July 14, 2008 - PenOffice 3.0 Beta 2 Released.
PenOffice brings the power of award winning PhatWare handwriting recognition technology to your Microsoft Windows Powered Tablet, Desktop or Portable PC and adds useful pen-based applications: Microsoft Office XP or later document markup (Word, Excel and Power Point), on-screen drawing, ScratchPads with email support, and PenCommander.
PenOffice works on any Windows-based Desktop, Portable or Tablet PC and supports practically any input device compatible with your computer mouse, such as i-Pen, digital whiteboards, graphic tablets, touch-screen monitors, etc.
This is a public beta program, which has been created to provide you with early access to the next major version release of PenOffice 3. You are not obligated to provide any feedback, however you must read and agree with the non-disclosure agreement and complete the Registration form to be able to download the beta software. If you would like to participate, please follow the instructions below.
Note: PenOffice 3 requires any mulimedia, desktop, or portable PC powerd by Windows XP or later it is not compatible with older versions of the Windows operating system.
To participate in this beta program
- Fill out and submit the Beta Registration Form. You will receive your Beta ID and Beta product registration code via email as soon as you submit this form.
- Proceed to the Download page and download PenOffice 8 Beta software.
- Carefully read Release Notes.
- Install PenOffice on your Pocket PC. Follow the instructions on the release notes page.
- If you find any bugs or would like to request a feature, please fill out and submit the PenOffice Bug Form.
Note: This version of PenOffice will work until September 30, 2008. We expect that the final release of PenOffice 3.0 will be available before this expiration date.
